Performed cooling maintenance on a 15 year old Bryant and 6 year old Trane Customer concern of elevated electric usage Customer concern of condensate pump discharge line discoloration Discoloration caused from rust that commonly comes from older style AC evaporator coils (this is the 15yr old system.) There is no remedy for this other than replacing the coil, which is not recommended until a new AC system is required Both 16x25x1 filters are clean Condensate pumps are functioning properly No signs of water leaks Both outdoor units had extremely dirty condenser coils This is a condition that can increase electrical consumption during AC operation Tore down and thoroughly washed both units Capacitors both tested in spec Both systems are now clean and operating within specification at this time.
