We can't say enough great things about our experience with Cody B! He recently completed a big 4 day project at our house and truly went above and beyond. From start to finish, he was hardworking, incredibly nice, and always made sure to check in and communicate clearly every step of the way. He was fair with pricing, super knowledgeable, and you could tell he genuinely cared about doing the job right and looking out for us. It's rare to find someone who combines professionalism with that level of care and integrity — but he’s the real deal. If you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing and treats your home like it’s their own, this is your guy. Can’t recommend him enough. He’s the man!

Needed to replace old outdoor faucet suddenly and Matthew from Chen plumbing did it along with another copper pipe repair quickly and professionally. My only regret is that he couldn’t replace the drywall nor recommend a company to do so.

We had water leaking from our front yard after a freeze. We expected a big price tag and lot of digging in the yard (maybe after it thawed a few days later). We were very pleased that Juan opted to do a full investigation of our pipes as they entered and exited the house and meter. He found an old unused irrigation line and checked that without any digging! The problem was solved in an hour, he capped it to prevent further issues, and the cost was a fifth of what we feared. We were very grateful and impressed by his professionalism. The company themselves were responsive, understood the urgency, and were easy to schedule with. They even sent a picture of the technician coming out so we felt secure when he arrived.

Dawson was very knowledgeable and professional. Outside of the work he and Chen Plumbing completed, we also discussed various future projects I want done and pros and cons of different options. Highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

Cody was professional, clean, and explained things, and performed the work. Took time to pre-plan the fittings before cutting in, minimizing my downtime. Took pictures along the way and walked me through them in the end.

Upon arrival customer stated there was a main water line leak. I dug and found it was a galvanized pipe. I informed the customer we can not repair the line and that we would have to replace it. Gave customer estimate. Customer approved estimate. I dug two holes one at the meter and on at the home. Then I trenched the two holes together and ran the new pipe. I also made a new stub out and sealed the new hole and connected the new line to the existing one in the home. I also installed a ball valve and meter box. I tested the system and system is working properly with no leaks or issues. Then I backfilled the holes and checked the pressure to the home. I found that the Prv is fluctuating when one or more fixture is turned on in the home. I informed the customer that the PRV is not supposed to do that and left him with two estimates to either replace the PRV and the whole house, shut off or just the PRV.
Installed customer supplied single handle shower and tub valve roughed into dimensions customer wanted, as well as replaced small section of copper line that was in the way, thoroughly tested all work. Warranty only applies on Chen plumbing parts and labor.
Customer state that she haven’t heard her sewage ejector pump running in a while. I checked the pump operation. Everything work fine. They have a quiet check valve which reduced the noise by a lot.
Upon arrival customer stated they wanted a quote to flush there water heater. Customer also stated she had a stop that did not work properly and I also found that a widespread faucet was dripping. Give customer estimates to flush the water, replace the stop ,and install a customer supplied widespread faucet. Customer approved the estimate to flush the water heater. I turned the water off to the tankless and hock the pump and hoses. I filled the bucket up with clear water and poured the declarer into the bucket and turned the pump on. I let the declarer run though the tankless for 45 minutes and then dumped the water and filled it back up with clean water and ran the pump for 15 more minutes. I tested the system and system is working properly with no leaks or issues.
Customer kitchen sink drain line tie in with the basement bathroom sink and bar sink are backing up. When they ran water at kitchen sink, basement sinks will fill up and overflow. Cleared out drain line with flex shaft from 2in clean out. Removed a lot of black greases and hair. Ran a lot of hot water to test. Ran camera, line are open fully.
Customer had multiple fobs leaking in washing machine box. Cut open wall to access and replace. Drain was also leaking from the washing machine box connection. Placed washing machine box, pressurized system slowly and tested for leaks.
Came out today to finish the customer supplied water heater installation we started yesterday. Water heater is located in small closet with the furnace and there was a 2” ptrap drain for the ac condensate and the water heater temperature and pressure relief line directly behind the water heater that was causing some issues. Not intentionally, I ended up breaking off that waste arm at the tee fitting hub. So we returned today to fix that broken trap the way it should’ve been in the first place and got it out of our way. There was also a concrete I guess platform that was barely there and also causing some issues. The water heater did not sit on the concrete before but on the lip of it, the rest was on the wood floor, so we removed that concrete, put the water heater in the new pan, and slid them into the closet and into place. Reconnected the cold and hot water lines to water heater as well as the venting and the gas. Installed new thermal expansion tank per code. Once water was back on
Leak at the gap from kitchen sink to undermount counter top. Customer will apply caulking himself. No other leak found. No access to water heater, door locked.
Upon arrival customer stated they were listening the house for sell and list of things they wanted done. Gave customer estimate. Customer approved estimate. I started with the whole hose shut off and prv. I cut out the old ones and installed the new ball valve and prv. While I had the water off I also installed a 1/2 ball valve for a ice maker line and installed a new thermal expansion tank with a mounting bracket . As well as install two stops in the laundry room for the sink they were adding in. I also installed a new hose bib while the water was off. I turned the water back on and tested everything thing and set the pressure to 65 psi. Then I took out old soft copper line for the stove and for the water heater and installed track pipe and two new gas valves. I relight the water heater and make the sure the stove worked. Tested all systems and all systems are working properly with no leaks or issues.
Remove old water heater, and hauled away. Furnished and installed new 50 gallon gas heater with new tank shut off and thermal expansion tank. Install drip pan under heater. Tested all connections and no leaks were present at this time. Cleaned up work area.
Customer said that in master bath shower wasn’t staying hot and also that showerhead had bad pressure. Also lavatory faucet, hot side was low pressure as well. Customer quote to take apart, lavatory faucet and expect and also replace car cartridge on shower valve and clean showerhead. Customer approved. I went ahead and replaced cartridge and tested now. Shower is working as it should. Took off showerhead and cleaned and pressure is better than what it was. Cleaned buildup in supply line on cold side for lavatory and pressure is better. Cleaned up work area.
Checked shower drain leak , found incorrect installation need repair , quoted job
Left quote to repair gas line underground and repipe back through foundation wall with a sleeve and shut off valve inside the house to isolate and test repair.
Flushed tankless water heater with calcifree tankless flush solution, rinsed clean before firing it back up and confirming proper function. No further issue at this time.
Replaced a disposal with customer supplied today
