We can't say enough great things about our experience with Cody B! He recently completed a big 4 day project at our house and truly went above and beyond. From start to finish, he was hardworking, incredibly nice, and always made sure to check in and communicate clearly every step of the way. He was fair with pricing, super knowledgeable, and you could tell he genuinely cared about doing the job right and looking out for us. It's rare to find someone who combines professionalism with that level of care and integrity — but he’s the real deal. If you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing and treats your home like it’s their own, this is your guy. Can’t recommend him enough. He’s the man!

Needed to replace old outdoor faucet suddenly and Matthew from Chen plumbing did it along with another copper pipe repair quickly and professionally. My only regret is that he couldn’t replace the drywall nor recommend a company to do so.

We had water leaking from our front yard after a freeze. We expected a big price tag and lot of digging in the yard (maybe after it thawed a few days later). We were very pleased that Juan opted to do a full investigation of our pipes as they entered and exited the house and meter. He found an old unused irrigation line and checked that without any digging! The problem was solved in an hour, he capped it to prevent further issues, and the cost was a fifth of what we feared. We were very grateful and impressed by his professionalism. The company themselves were responsive, understood the urgency, and were easy to schedule with. They even sent a picture of the technician coming out so we felt secure when he arrived.

Dawson was very knowledgeable and professional. Outside of the work he and Chen Plumbing completed, we also discussed various future projects I want done and pros and cons of different options. Highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

Customer has a rhythmic metallic sounding click in the wall by kitchen, usually late at night. Based on questions discussed with the customer, it doesn’t appear to correlate with direct water usage of any kind. Performed a pressure check and drop test for the prv. Pressure sits around 65 psi, but a lavatory faucet drops the pressure down to 50. Customer had questions about greening on the copper pipes in the basement. Pointed out areas in the middle of copper lines with spotting and explained they are potential leak point in the future. Left a quote for a Flo by Moen and a new PRV based on these first two observations. The tankless unit has a recirculation tee upstairs. When water is heating over night to recirculate it is likely causing thermal expansion in the home. This can lead to the clicking noise that was observed and recorded by the customer. Left a quote to install a thermal expansion tank also.
Looked at all the faucets with a thermometer to determine what the temperature of the water is. Looked at 7 faucets and they read between 125-130 f* there are no problems that I can see.
Today we arrived with main line blockage issue , we removed toilet in hallway , use 100 feet snake cleared blockage , after we cleared line , we did camera inspection found blockage was related to old cast iron pipe and customer flushed lots wipe down the line , pipe need replacement with pvc
Customer had a toilet with a loose trip lever, slow filling toilet, and a failed stop valve. Diagnosed that the washer in the stop had disintegrated and stopped up the fill valve and supply line causing a slow filling toilet. Replaced the stop, supply line, fill valve, flapper, and trip lever to correct the issue. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks, none were found.
Customer had stoppage affecting kitchen sink drain line attempted to drop trap and run small machine, but was unable to clear found 3 inch cleanout in ceiling in basement below removed cap ran machine was unable to clear. Will need to bring Jetter tomorrow to further attempt to clear line.
Use auger to attempt to clear toilet stoppage. Customer stated that there was a toilet that was backing up and only the toilet that was backing up. Stated to customer that the first step to attempt to clear stop will be using a toilet auger and customer agreed. Went ahead and ran auger through toilet and got stoppage cleared. Tested toilet by flushing multiple times and now the toilet is flushing as it should. Also noticed that toilet was rocking. Also water heaters from 2016 coming up on 10 years of age. Will send estimate to pull and reset a toilet and replace water heater.
Customer have low water pressure in the master bathroom shower we had came out to take a look at this issue again previous plumber cleaned out the showerhead from all debris however, backed up again with debris, causing the low flow doesn’t seem to be a cartridge issue but more on the long lines of the shower arm, considering it is so long the debris getting stuck in the line, causing calcium buildup, and stale buildup in the shower arm and head. What I recommend is to replace the shower arm in head with a brand new one see if Delta will warranty it if not, buy it and install it.. as for the sewer smell I was unable to smell anything in either bathrooms, the master and or the guest hallway, water closet. I had mentioned if it persists and continues to give us a call back and we will do something else to find the issue.
Dishwasher installed by reliable not functioning properly. Found drain hose loop to be issued and drain plug on disposal not removed causing dishwasher to backflow into washer. This caused an error code and water to get within washer. Removed washer and then disassembled parts to get to moister sensor. Dried washer throughly and dried sensor in washer. Also found water valve to washer to be off. Valve is failed still allowing water to service washer. Turned on water and replumbed washer. Turn on washer and checked for leaks and proper function. Customer will have reliable return to mount washer.
Customer wanted quote on water heater replacement. Will call back with decision.
Replaced master delta shower cartridge with customer supplied parts
Call for sink backup upstairs in master bathroom. Used drill auger to remove hair buildup and sink is draining well. No other issues at this time. When performing pressure test the gauge gave an unusual read and broke the gauge. I checked pressure and flow in home and it appears normal. Prv is only 3-4 years old. No indication of high pressure at this time.
Could not replaced the trim because this Home Depot delta rough in valve
Returned to finish the job(s) from last week. Shower valves, 2 bathroom copper repipe, and basement toilet flange replacement, with installing customer supplied toilet.
Replaced master bathroom toilet and installed customer supplied handheld shower
Today we did a full water service line replacement from water meter up to the home and into the crawlspace with new pressure reducing valve and new whole home water shutoff. Ran new line in a roll of 3/4” type L soft copper piping and added a ball valve shutoff at the water meter for homeowner. Backfilled to grade as best we could. Full water service replacement has 5 yr warranty. We also installed the 2 new shower valves in the upstairs bathrooms that we previously purchased last week. Once tile is done, we can come back and install the trim for the valves. Shower head, cover plate and screws and tub spout. Turned water back on, no leaks. Also, while reliable was doing their thing, they found a 3” pvc stack pipe that had screws in it, like the Sheetrock guys years ago thought they had a stud, but in fact had a pvc pipe. Cut out that section and reconnected it to our other new drain work in garage. Pulled basement bathroom toilet and assessed the flange. The flange was low, and
