Dawson was very knowledgeable and professional. Outside of the work he and Chen Plumbing completed, we also discussed various future projects I want done and pros and cons of different options. Highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

We fixed leak at 1/2 “ black union and pipe , replaced old gas shut off valve and section of pipe today , tested . No more leak .
Replaced 50 gallon gas water heater in basement
Installed customer supplied widespread lavatory faucet in master bathroom. Investigated leak coming from refrigerator. All icemaker line connections are good and refrigerator is leaking internally. Advise customer on next steps for potential refrigeration replacement. Customer had 5% off discount coupon.
Water heater leaking upon arrival. Customer wanted a quote for tankless and a regular tank. Gave customer estimate customer decided to go with 50 gallon gas water heater and PRV. Customers pressure was reading 110 psi on back hose Bibb. Installed new 50 gallon gas water heater in basement with new pan, thermal expansion tank. Installed new PRV and set pressure to 65 PSI. Tested all systems, systems are working and water heater is fired up with no issues or leaks.
Customers water pressure is exceeding 80 psi. Thermal expansion tank is undersized for 100 gallons of hot water. Main shut off valve is leaking in ceiling. Replace all items and bring up to code.
Shower drain clogged and right side of double vanity clogged. Customer stated they tried to clear drain themselves and couldn’t get it. Gave customer estimate to clear both drains. Customer approved estimate. Cleared shower drain and pulled back chunks of hair. Pulled pop up assembly on right side of vanity to find build up on stopper. Tested both drains, they are draining and working with no issues or leaks.
Replaced corroded galvanized pipes with PEX. Cut out old pipes using reciprocating saw. Installed Uponor PEX-a tubing with ProPEX expansion fittings. Used Milwaukee M12 ProPEX expansion tool for connections. Installed new quarter-turn shutoff valves. Pressure tested system to 100 PSI for 15 minutes. Insulated hot water lines with foam pipe insulation.
Cleared main sewer line blockage. Used RIDGID K-7500 drum machine with 3/4" cable and spear head attachment. Navigated through 4" clay pipe to remove tree root intrusion 50 feet from cleanout. Verified clear line with RIDGID SeeSnake camera. Applied RootX foam to inhibit future growth. Restored normal drain flow to all fixtures.
Cleared a clogged shower drain and, to ensure thorough cleaning, poured sulfuric acid down the drain to break up any remaining debris. This method helps prevent future blockages and ensures smooth water flow.
Have to get roots out before we can give accurate quote for line replacement. High likelihood that line is going to cross under the driveway. Jetter roots out of terracotta pipe. Left quote to replace sewer line. Tie in spot in transition from terracotta to concrete right before driveway.
