We needed our sewer and water lines replaced due to multiple root problems in the original sewer line. Dawson was great about giving us our options and letting us know the costs upfront. They seemed to do a thorough job of connecting the system to our home and the city’s sewer line. The crew did a nice job of smoothing out the dirt from the excavation of our lawn. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.
Eric did an excellent job in fixing the gas problem as described by AGL. He provided various options all with fair prices. He also explained at every step and was thorough with his work.

For this job, I worked on replacing old gas line that had faulty leaking fitting.
Came out for back up. Attempted to snake line and pulled out roots returned following day and found root intrusion in terracotta pipe. Removed blockage and camera’d line. Found multiple root intrusions in terracotta pipe going down to the city cleanout. Replaced sewer and waterline. Waterline was Galvanized and was installed directly over the sewer line. Sewer line was 8’ deep at the tap. Had to replace waterline as it was unavoidable to break it while digging down 8’. Tested to ensure proper installation and a leak free install. 5 year warranty on both sewer and water service.
Customer had a water heater that had flooded in crawlspace and the pilot went out. Customer was concerned that the rainwater had caused it to flood. Noted that it was unlikely since the height of the heater in the crawlspace was much higher then the low ground with the groundwater pumps. Found water leaking from subfloor above right next to the heater. Trace the leak back to a broken pipe under lavatory faucet. Found water in the cabinets, pooled on the floor, and running under the wall into the crawlspace. Replaced the chrome 1-1/4 trap and the threaded connection to the pop up assembly. Customer had questions regarding the pressure to the home. Water pressure is at 79 psi. Checked thermal expansion tank and it had failed. Replaced the thermal expansion tank. Inspected crawlspace to find prv location and prv is likely buried in the yard. This make prv replacement difficult since galvanized can’t be worked on and adding a second prv has a chance of causing flow issues. Replaced the the

Customer had a sewer ejection pump for carriage house. Pump wasn’t kicking off. Removed the Cleanout cap and there was no standing water. Checked the outlet box with a hot tester and found there was no power. The button in the outlet wasn’t flipped. Inspected the breaker box and found a tripped breaker. Flipped the breaker and the pump pumped the water out. Cautioned customer that the pump shouldn’t go up and down to pump to the house and technically isn’t a correct installation. Let customer know if the breaker keeps tripping an electrician should be called. If the electrician can’t find any issue will return for the quoted price to pull pump and inspect.
I was a professional plumber who worked for Chen Plumbing. I was assigned to run a 3/4” gas line from the crawlspace to the outside under the back deck for a gas grill. I had to dig a trench, lay the pipe, and connect it to the gas line. It was a challenging job, but I was able to complete it successfully.
