Time one packing nut to fix leak on left side hose spigot. Cut inside master bathroom closet to access half-inch copper line for hose Spicket on right side of home and replaced.
Shut down water to home, gas to water heater and unplug recirculating pump. Replace existing water heater and place new water heater in pan. Replace single handle tub cartridge in master bathroom. Furnish and install new 2.5 gallon thermal expansion tank and secure. Make all necessary connections before pressurizing system and testing for leaks. Bleed out air and fill water heater before lighting.
Responded to emergency call in Buford today for completely backed-up kitchen sink. Found sink filled to brim with dirty water & garbage disposal wouldn't run. Tried plunging first with no luck. Used hand auger to check for blockages in trap - nothing there. Had to remove trap and found the clog was deeper in the drain line. Brought in the power auger and hit serious resistance about 12 feet in! Broke through what felt like grease buildup mixed with food debris. Ran water for 15 mins after clearing to ensure good flow. Everything working great now! Showed homeowner how grease + food scraps = big trouble over time. Recommended monthly treatment with enzyme cleaner to prevent future buildup. Quick tip: told them to always run cold water when using disposal, not hot (keeps grease solid so it can be chopped up). Nice folks - will definitely call Chen again!
Returned to install new water service with new stub out. Installed new water service through garage to the PRV. Strapped water service to top edge of the wall. Tested system system is running with no leaks or issues. Customers house lost internet throughout the day. Informed customer the only utility we crossed was gas and we hand dug that area. Customer is having att come out. The marking for internet is roughly 25 foot away from the trench.
Running hot water for tub faucet , replaced stem , tub spout is very loose and we did not work with that .

Digging/Diagnostics- $350 Water Service Repair (not going through the foundation) - $875 Replace Water Service Through Foundation - $1,365 Upon arrival customer stated that he had a hissing noise under the ground and the foundation where the water service comes in. There was also a drip that was coming from the Flo control on the existing service. Gave customer three prices to cover any situation that could occur from the issue as stated. Dug down upon customer approval and found that the water service was only four inches deep and was leaking from where the black pex bent through the foundation. Since the leak was so close to the foundation and was so shallow, the water service was replaced with pex through the foundation.
