Work was performed professionally and quickly. However, replacing a $30 part and charging $480 is quite a markup.

Customer had an extremely high water bill. Came out and inspected the toilets and the t&p. Found no leaks on any of the above things. Isolated the ball valve inside and saw no movement on meter. This eliminates the possibility of a leak on the water service. Repaired leaking hose bib on the back of the home. The meter is no longer moving. beth.pettry@northpoint.org
For this job we did a lot, we repiped the main water line to accommodate a new new pressure regulator valve, new 1/4 ball valve, a customer supplied automatic shut off valve called phyn. We also replaced the 50 gallon water heater, replaced 3 angle stops in the master guest hallway and upstairs hallway. We installed a new escutcheon for all of the toilets, three new multi turn compression angle stops followed by 16in supply lines. We also replaced the basket strainer on the right side of the kitchen sink, following with a new tail piece and ptrap, no leak after install. Customer wanted up to shorten the nipple for the Range, couldn’t go too short other wise we wouldn’t be able to thread anything on to the pipe. Installed a new water heater and brought it up to code, new thermal expansion tank with bracket, followed but new pipe and fittings. Also had to a small spot repair on the water line, where the water heater is, there is a small pin hole causing a small drip, that is now repaired
Call back for running toilet. Found guest powder room with flapper chain slightly twisted and tight, allowing toilet to occasionally run. Adjusted chain length and untwisted. Toilet not running, and we couldn’t replicate it running by any other means. Upstairs bathroom chain was folding under flapper sometimes. Adjusted length here as well. Due to severely deteriorated condition of toilets, we cannot guarantee that the flapper housing will last much longer either. Gaskets and other components are so deteriorated that I strongly encourage the replacement of both toilets. Also, I again advised that the water heater is incredibly old. And the internal liner has a high possibility of being cracked. Strongly encourage replacement as soon as possible.
Call for leak in basement and one on main line before house shut off. Mr. Alexander would like an estimate only for leak on the main, and repairs for the leak in the basement. I performed the repair on a cpvc reducer, which was a hairline crack on the fitting, by replacing the fitting and a small section of pipe. Slowly pressurized home, let air out of faucets.
Returning tomorrow to run new gas poly service line to the pool heater.
For this customer, they had a potential water leak coming from the toilets in the upstairs guest hallway bathroom I had source the leak coming from the shower. The tile shower is missing the soap bar holder indicating. That. The water is leaking down to the ceiling below that that is where the leak is coming from so therefore what I recommend is to redo the tile shower or mitigate the issue that is there and essentially redo the tile to fix the leaking the water pressure is normal so that is not a contributing factor but I believe that the leak is coming from the shower tile wall.
Kitchen is completely stopped up , we have tried different type of sewer equipment, snake and chain snake , also did camera inspection, pipe is under slab with full of grease build up over the years , camera also found very big belly with 17 degree bad pitch , told customer we need break the slab for fix the is problem
All for water main leak. Arrived and found water leaking profusely from ground. Tenant states they were contacted by the water service provider and advised they were losing 800+ gallons. Leak is coming up approximately 3 feet from meter. Dug down and exposed one inch plastic waterline. Leak coming from ~1/2 inch crack in line. We found significant amounts of rocks, which may have contributed to damage. No other verifiable causes of damage found. This leak was not affected in any way by tenant use, but is likely defective material or installation caused. Now that leak has been repaired I recommend the tenant contact the water service provider for a bill adjustment.
Customer has stain in the garage ceiling, but did not want us open the ceiling at this time to check , paid dispatch fee toady
Customer stated that in garage there was a leak coming from ceiling. Said a customer that we will need to cut sheet rock to see what is leaking and customer agreed. Went ahead and cut sheet rock on ceiling and found that master bath shower drain was dripping. Replace shower stall drain and also P-trap. Afterwards tested by running shower for about 5 to 10 minutes, and no leaks were present at this time. Also on main floor rebuild toilet by replacing fill valve flat and supply line and also replaced shut off valve for toilet for no extra charge. Tested and no leaks were present at this time cleaned up work area.
Return to install customer supplied kitchen faucet. Removed faucet and installed Kohler faucet. Also added gasket to p trap drain tube off disposal. When testing pressure I discovered that the water heater is 3-5 years pst its life expectancy, and has not been flushed. Black water released when checking pressure. I strongly encourage to replace the unit as soon as possible.
Return to install new PRV’s and flush tankless water heaters. Shut water off to home and drain down system. Remove existing PRV and furnishing installed new high-pressure PRV with regular PRV. Flush both tankless by running haymaker solution through and also cleaning filters. Turned water back on and tested. There were no leaks on tankless water heaters and set water pressure to 60 psi. Cleaned up work area.
For this customer, the gas to his grill outside wasn’t getting any gas to the grill so I looked around to find where the shut off valve is or if there’s a problem with the gas line did not smell gas so that is good but more importantly could not find the gas shut off valve located the gas shut off valve underneath the range cabinet And it was turned off there however he had a weird configuration with his gas piping so therefore I recommended to clean it up and push the gas line with the quick connect backwards so his kids don’t start playing with the gas line and potentially cause an issue so that is what I recommended and that is what we did install the new 90 with the 2 inch nipple fall by the gas shut off valve and then a close nipple to connect the quick connect into it once that was complete. I tested the gas piping work that I did with bubble solution and there’s no gas leaks water pressure is at 45 psi And the customer has a fairly new Bradford white water heater 75 gallon with
Call for garbage disposal. Arrived and discovered disposal had a blockage in the p traps. Ms. Rochelle also mentioned water leaking under the sink. When I checked for water leaks I found that the kitchen faucet sprayer line has a leak. Also discovered incorrect trap components, and a missing gasket. Also incorrect p trap setup. I recommend replacing disposal, faucet, and rebuilding the drains. After speaking with home owner on phone, he has requested three quotes, and each have been provided.
