They have good client communication. Before they started, they went over all the details
I had three visits from Chen Plumbing. Cody was the first plumber to come over, and Dawson and an assistant came back for the second and third visits. We had to diagnose and fix an underground leak before our insurance would approve the work. Once the repair was approved, Dawson and the assistant returned to complete the job. Both of them were incredibly professional and left our home in better condition than when they arrived. I was pleasantly surprised by how they managed to keep our place clean during their visit, considering the repair was done under our kitchen floor. I am truly grateful to both of them, and they definitely deserve a raise!
The best I have encountered! Thorough, knowledgeable, methodical, honest, polite.
Chen plumbing was very responsive and the technician did an outstanding job solving my toilet issues. A sold 5 star and wiĺl use them again!
Dawson Foster visited us on the Wednesday May 7th. He and his partner were friendly enough however, my problem while being addressed, was not fixed. I had a leaky tub faucet and got a factory replacement cartridge direct from Pfister just in case it was needed. I may have been but Mr.Foster said it would cost over $400 to replace with a part I already had. It’s a 10 minute job that I have done several times so not sure where you guys get off wanting to charge that kind of money. This was kind of a test case in that soon I will need a re-pipe for my home and as we are getting ready to build out an addition for a “mother-in-law” suite, new service for that as well. You guys are now out of the running. My math thinks that if you guys charge $400+ to change out an faucet cartridge, I can’t fathom what you would charge for the work I just spelled out. Not going to public besmirch Chen but you just lost what I would consider to be a formidable job.
Dawson was incredibly professional and promptly identified the plumbing issue. He presented me with various options for repair and even offered referrals for restoration services after the work was done. I felt well-informed and educated throughout the process. I’m very satisfied and look forward to continuing service with Chen Plumbing.
It was an incredible experience to have Chen reach out via text and call to follow up and keep me informed. Cody was incredibly knowledgeable, and I felt completely confident in his guidance and recommendations. Overall, I had the best experience possible, and I highly recommend this company to everyone. Thank you so much!
Victor was efficient and very professional Did a great job!
Mr Chen gave me good service but I wouldn’t use the other tech they sent out first.
Customer stated that he wanted a quote for two toilet installs. In master bath, there is no flooring where toilet goes and currently flange is sitting too high. Recommended to customer to have flooring installed so that flame doesn’t have to be fixed twice. Will send an estimate for toilet installs.
Customer stated that tub and shower combo drain was broken and leaking into ceiling below. Cut Sheetrock and found that we will need to replace waste and over flow and also the ptrap. I couldn’t get repair made today due to reason of HVAC drain was tying into overflow for the tub. Customer didn’t want to go without AC through the weekend so once HVAC company can get out and make their repairs we will be able to come out and make our repair. Cleaned up work area. Will credit back some of the charge today to any work that is done in the next 30 days.
Customer had issues with drain and kitchen sink, toilet upstairs and widespread lavatory faucet upstairs. Diagnosed situation found thermal expansion tank, not functioning and causing excess pressure on system. Water heater is approximately 13 years old and so is the pressure valve. Pressure valve tested OK but original to home. Gave estimate for necessary replacements and preemptive ones. Replaced basket strainer on right side of kitchen sink. Use tablets in toilet upstairs tank to show flapper is holding.
Invoice #: 9734 Toilet doesn’t appear to have been used recently. Upon arrival, noted a normally filled bowl. Ran the lavatory faucet to ensure there was no stoppage in the bathroom group and no evidence of this being the case presented itself. Flushed the toilet 10 times mixing between regular flushing and flushing with a wad of toilet paper, no evidence of backups presented itself. Adjusted the float on the flapper for a stronger flush. Five of the flushes have an attached video to show proper flushing and no signs of backup. Customer also had a leak under lavatory faucet in the office. Noted water in the flexible trap under the drain, as well as a leak on built in supply line for lavatory faucet. Left a quote for faucet, drain, and trap replacement.
Customer got a notice from the HOA stating an irregularity with his usual water usage. Upon arrival, ran a tub and noted the meter is barely moving when the tub is ran. It took 25 seconds for the tub to register 1/10 of a gallon on the meter. Customer appears to be having a meter read issue. Customer had warping, separation, and darkening around the base of the toilet and separation on the baseboard. Due to the presence of hardwood, and customer stating the floor has been damp to the touch, recommended having Reliable Restoration inspect the damage and see what needs to be done. After Reliable inspects/repairs the damage we can ensure the flange is correct and set the toilet back. Customers water heater is 17 years old. Replacement is strongly recommended.
Came out for leaking water service. Water service had been replaced already by another company some time ago water service is maybe 4-5 inches deep. Homeowner having back yard regraded and two large stumps removed/ground up. Waterline was running over the top of the stump underground and was loosely covered with dirt. Landscapers regrading the yard hit it and broke it and did temp repair on the line. Notified homeowner we could repair line and get their water back on, but we are not responsible for the waterline being so shallow and warranty will be voided if it is rebroken during further landscaping work. Could not lower repair due to stump and concrete being under neath it. Left some play in the company to work around it while grinding the stump. No further issue at this time.
Found women’s restroom angle stop was not shutting off all the way and was leaking at the supply line. Got permission from property manager to shut the building down. Shut building down and drained waterlines to replace angle stop and supply line. Restored water to the building, bled all the air out of the lines. Tested operation of new angle stop. No leaks or failures at time of service
