Cody was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to inspect every detail of the issue. He sat down and gave me a multitude of options on how to fix my problem. He was very understanding, patient, respectful, and organized. I strongly recommend him to whoever needs plumbing repairs.
I think it was a rip off. $300 to unclogged a toilet or buy a new toilet? I just brought the toilet in 2022. I ordered a toilet unclogged appliance on Amazon for $46 and it worked like a charm. This service was a complete waste of time and money.
I have dealt with so many plumbers, and Marco is top notch. A true professional, he sussed out a problem that had given other plumbers a great deal of trouble.
Marco was incredible! He replaced the faucet and checked the pipes where we had leakage into the cabinet. In talking with him- I asked him to please check the pipes. When he showed me the interior of the pipes, we made the decision to replace them. He was very nice, thorough and a pleasure to work with. We will keep your number for any future plumbing needs and ask for Marco!
Customer had two leaking hose bibs (front and back), needed three angle stops installed, a toilet set, and a new trap for basement lavatory faucet. Gave pricing and upon customer approval performed all work as stated in job description. Made customer aware that the cabinet will have to be cut to run the trap. Also pointed out damage to the faucet and the sink that was existing. Customer will replace himself. Shut stops off to sink after testing until the faucet and sink are replaced. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Caulk at base of toilet needs 24 hours to dry.
Upon arrival customer stated the water was not getting as hot as normally dose. I asked the customer if the water heater has ever been flushed and the customer stated no it has not. I informed the customer the water heater was installed in 21 and it not being serviced could be a result in the water not getting as hot as normal. Gave customer estimate. Customer approved estimate. I flushed the water twice and was able to blow out a good bit of sediment in the tank. I informed the customer they would have hot water again in 30-45 minutes.
Customer stated that there was a few faucets that was dripping and that he wanted water heater flushed. Checked water heater water heaters from 2003 and recommended a customer to not have water heater flushed. Also check pressure to home and pressure was at 100 psi. Took apart faucets, and found that base was completely rusted. Recommended a customer to have faucets replaced. Will send estimates for repair needed.
Returned and replaced Mansfield seal ring in customer toilets bathroom. Made customer aware that the fill valve appears to be new, and the only potential future issue is the trip lever is a little sticky.
Customer had water leaking below faucet from kitchen faucet. Customer also had leak on basket strainer on left side and on under sink tubular. Gave customer pricing to install customer supplied kitchen faucet replaced basket strainer, and redo under sink tubular. Completed all work as quoted tested to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Highlighted hot stops to customer. Appears that water has distorted it. It’s likely from the leak above, checked for any additional leaks and found none at this time. Left price if any leaks presents themselves in the future on those stops.
Customer had a garbage disposal leaking from the bottom of the garbage disposal. Checked house pressure since we hadn’t been to this property yet. House pressure is at an extremely unsafe level at 135 psi. Thermal expansion tank has also ruptured. Gave options for both a single prv replacement, or a high pressure and standard prv install with a new thermal expansion tank. Made customer aware that a single prv install might not last the expected life span due to excess street pressure. Customer would like to take time to consider the options and will call back. Will discount any approved work by the 49 dollars collected for this trip charge.
Weekend call check smell issue , tile work is need it
Customer had a high water bill. Customer has leak detection equipment and asked if I would be able to determine the leak source. Informed the customer I’m not trained on that equipment and there are conditions needed to accurately detect the leak, the main condition being at least 1 gpm of water loss. Customer has about a tenth of a gallon leaking per minute, so leak detection won’t be an accurate way to find the leak. Isolated the shutoff inside and checked the meter, no water was moving, so the leak isn’t on the water service. Isolated the water heater and the meter wasn’t moving. This is an indication that the leak is on a hot loop under the slab inside/under the home. Left options for diagnostics to install shutoffs and determine which loop the leak is on, as well as a price to properly secure the thermal expansion tank to make it safe. Pricing includes pressure regulator replacement since water pressure is above 75 psi. Also, left a price to rework all the water lines in the home
Customer had toilet that has clogged every day for the past month. Cautioned customer that toilet is likely experiencing buildup in the trap from waste and paper. Angering can exasperate this issue and might not be a long term solution. Gave options for both auger in and replacing the toilet. Customer will consider the two options. Discounted the quotes by the trip charge collected today.
For this job, we came out and cleared sewer line. Lots of wipe material was found in drain and pulled out.
Returned and replaced prv with new prv. Replaced thermal expansion tank, filled to 60 psi, and strapped it to the ceiling. Turned water back on and set pressure to 60 psi. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Let customer know small air and discoloration may occur since water was turned off. This is normal and to be expected.
Customer had to replace the Ptrap for shower below the floor. A previous leak that had been repaired left a hold in ceiling in the living room. Due to perhaps settling, the Ptrap was lower that the level needed to put the drywall back. Cut out Ptrap and replaced with new pipe. Tested the new trap thoroughly by running water with customer to ensure no additional leaks were present. None were found.
Customer had two separate leaks that another contractor came out to repair and patch drywall/wood subfloor. Contractor had recommended having all piping to the bathrooms replaced. Upon arrival and inspection, found the water lines below to be copper and the drain lines to be pvc. Informed the customer that these are repairable pipes and doesn’t need a full replacement. Ran water in both tubs and couldn’t recreate leaks due to the leaks already being temporarily repaired and covered back. Informed customer that the leaks can’t be diagnosed without cutting drywall and additional diagnostics. Customer mentioned that contractor mentioned that the pressure was high. Pressure is at 110 psi. Left quote to replace the prv and thermal expansion tank. Customer declined doing work at this time due to other things needing to happen with the house and in the right order. Customer wanted the water damage assessed also. Got customer in touch with David at Reliable Restoration to address the water dam
Shower and toilet backing up upon arrival. Shower upstairs backed up when I ran water instantly. Also flushed downstairs toilet and started backing up. Gave customer estimate to clear shower drain and toilet. Customer approved estimate. Ran toilet auger and cleared toilet, ran little flex shaft down shower drain and cleared shower. Tested all systems, systems are working with no leaks or issues.
