Chen Plumbing has repaired and restored my home plumbing system many times. This last time, home inspector found some issues. Even though that work was completed more than a year ago, Chen responded quickly and scheduled the repair within a few days and charged only the basic rate for the work. It is comforting for owners to know that they can call back a contractor to repair and restore system issues from past work - quickly and affordably.

Chen Plumbing was quick to respond on an emergency toilet leak repair. Their licensed plumber, Eric Turner, was prompt, friendly and very professional. Was very communicative during the process , and offered several viable options for the temporary repair and long term resolution. Pricing was good for the level service provided. Scheduling was easy. I recommend Chen Plumbing. Ask for Eriic.

Upon arrival customer stated she has been having trouble turn off the bathroom faucet and it always drips. I informed the customer we would have to replace the cartridge. Gave customer estimate. Customer approved the estimate. I took out the old cartridges and set screws. Next I installed the new cartridges and set screws. Tested system and system is working properly with no issues or leaks.
Upon arrival customer stated the whole home was backing up. I gave customer estimate to run the camera and Sewer machine from the roof. Customer approved estimate. I ran the sewer machine down multiple times and was able to clear the blockage. Then I ran the camera and found roots and that the line had a belly. I informed the customer that the section with the roots and belly wound need to replaced but I also recommended replacing the whole sewer line. I left customer with estimate to replace the whole sewer line and to do a spot repaired. Before I left I make sure that the tenant was able to use the bathrooms and everything is exiting the home fine until it get to the section where the belly is.
Client called us out today due to their 3/4 hp garbage disposal not working at all. Power was on to it. Client had purchased new disposal in the past, so we installed that customer supplied 3/4 hp garbage disposal with new mounting bracket. Put drain together and tested all connections. No leaks, new unit operating as it should. The disposal was a plug in model when we needed a hard wired one, so we cut the plug off and took it out, and hardwired it as normal. 1 yr labor warranty, no warranty on customer supplied parts.
Price is to furnish and install new 50 gallon gas water heater with a new pan, shutoff, and thermal expansion tank. Price is included to rework copper line for gas supply on water heater. Customer had a leaking heater. Installed a new 50 gas with a new pan, shutoff, strapped thermal, and eliminated the copper gas line. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found.
Two clogged toilets. Nothing backing up into any other fixtures in the house. Attempted auger. After multiple flushes it started working. Had nothing to do with the augering which I could tell by looking at the layout of the plumbing in the unfinished basement. Found cleanout in front of house. Sewer line is 10’ deep. Ran camera for free to identify any possible buried issues as I wanted to ensure we wouldn’t get recalled at the end of the day for another back up. Dropped camera down cleanout and found sewer line coming out of the house is heavily back pitched and holding water due to house settling on hill. Left two different repair options. Notified homeowner of my findings.
Repair sewer line , installed new two way clean out , new Kohler toilet installed
Customer stated that there was a leak under the kitchen. Attempted to make repair on leak under sink and couldn’t get repair made properly. Will need access behind dishwasher to rework stack. Customer will need to have someone come and remove dishwasher for us and reinstall dishwasher. Also will need to search for PRV and home.

Homeowners state that they were showering and after the shower they noticed the floor wet and saw water coming from underneath the toilet and called us out to fix the issue. Upon arrival customer greeted me outside and showed me to the master bathroom toilet and I could see water marks from the toilet and I ran the shower until it started leaking again. The master bathroom is the only place clogged and the other bathroom works fine no issues. Homeowner took me to the basement crawl space and I did my inspection found the water pressure was high and took a look at the sewer lines that majority cast iron. Customer stated that it’s been two years since tankless was installed, and it was needed to be flushed. Customer price to flush tankless and customer agreed. Went ahead and flush, tankless and tested. There were no leaks on tankless at this time and also tankless seem to be working as it should. Upon arrival, customer informed me when the washing machine runs water comes under the adjacent walls in the garage and bathroom/living room area. As the first step, gave customer price to search for concealed leak. Cut open the drywall around the washing machine box. Made customer aware that Chen Plumbing isn’t responsible for repairs made to cuts to access plumbing. Found that the line is backing up and leaking under the washing machine box. Gave customer the following quote for the job description: Price is to furnish and install new washing machine box and install new Ptrap. Made customer aware of the age and condition of the cast that there is a possibility the cast tee can break on the 2 inch. If this happens, additional pricing will need to be given to replace a section of the 3 inch cast vertical to tie in. Also if the drain is backing up in the 3 inch additional cleaning options will need to be given. Cleaned the work area, put the washing machine back, and tested the drain
