I'm not sure about pricing since they came to save an emergency situation in my master bathroom. There were other issues technician addressed and fixed as needed for a reasonable cost I assume. The work was clean and two techs spent several updating my plumbing issues. Definitely worth the money since I'll save water and other plumbing fixtures in the long run. Very caring team and a pleasure to have them fix my plumbing issues. The office people kept me updated on tech arrival and follow up call to check their work.

Customer stated that toilet wasn’t flushing properly and also water level was lower than normal. Used auger to clear stoppage and also replaced fill valve to correct water level. Tested toilet by flushing multiple times at this time toilet was flushing as it should and no leaks present at this time. Also, customer stated that there was a smell coming from water from lavatory faucet. Stated that anode rod on water heater may have gone bad in recommended replacing water heater due to age. Will send an estimate to do so. Also, customer stated that there was mold growing on lavatory drain and recommended cleaning and using little bit of bleach to prevent mold growth. Cleaned up work area. No warranty on drain cleaning
For this job, we were called out to replace the pressure reducing valve. The customer already had a 25 AV, but it was installed about 1015 years ago the one that we went ahead and replaced it with was the same model turned off the water to the house let drain down the house as much as possible some residual water would still be in the line Disconnected. The union added a mail adapter to the new PRV and pro pressed the male adapter to the copper once that was complete there are no leaks tie. The union back on the customer is all good. Check the pressure it was reading at 60 pounds and then I asked the homeowner to flush the toilet and it dropped down to 40 pounds indicating a decrease in pressure so therefore that is why we did the recommendation on replacing the unit. No leaks after installed.
Give options to repair multiple items. Customer did not want to proceed at this time.
Replaced a 50 gal gas water heater , pan , expansion tank , auto shut off valve installed
Big Snake Main Drain From Toilet Pull & Reset (Drain Cleaning): Remove toilet. Run big snake to attempt to clear blockage in main line. Toilet reinstall with new wax seal, closet bolts if necessary, flexible metal-braided supply line, and caulking. While expertly performed, Chen Plumbing does not guarantee using the big snake will clear the blockage. NOTE: Drain cleaning services are not covered under warranty. Due to the nature of drain blockages and clogs, we cannot guarantee that the issue will not reoccur after service. Our technicians will do their best to resolve the problem during the visit, but factors such as underlying plumbing conditions, recurring debris, and pipe damage may affect long-term results. Performed work mentioned above. Insured line was not clogged by flushing toilet over 20 times and running water down Drain line to confirm line was no longer clogged. Everything is working as intended at this time.
Install garbage disposal and replace single handle cartridge. Also rebuild toilet. Removed old garbage disposal and furnished and installed new one. Tested and no leaks were present at this time. Also for bathroom upstairs replaced single handle, shower valve cartridge and tested, and now shower is working as it should. No leaks are present at this time. In basement rebuilt, toilet by replacing full valve and flapper. And now toilet is working as it should. Cleaned up work area. Also was an estimate for water heater replacement, and PRV replacement due to age of heater.
In bedroom bathroom under lavatory faucet replace both hot and cold service valve and supply lines. Customer stated that there was a leak under lavatory faucet that was dripping into basement. Found leak on shark bite fitting for service valve on hot side. Recommended to customer to replace both service valves because both were Sharkbite and customer agreed. Shut water off to home and replaced both hot and cold service valve with new supply lines. Turned water back on and tested. No leaks present at this time. Also tested pressure and water pressure was about 72 psi. Turned faucet on and psi was dropping over 10 psi and stated to customer that Prv is starting to fail.
Customer had multiple back up to master bathroom caused toilet overflow , tub and shower not draining, we corrected some slope of the pvc pipe and used hydro jetting equipment cleaned line from bathroom down to basement to outside , this line is also connected to kitchen sink drain , also found grease build up in pvc pipe in basement area by water heater / furnace area
Client called us out today due to a main water service line leak out in the yard just after the water meter about 2’ under ground. We had made a repair in similar area 3 years ago. Client decided he did not want pex for the repair and wanted sweated copper and fittings. So we installed new meter nipple with new watts dual check valve, then ran 3/4” copper about 5’ and tied into the existing 1” black poly main running to home. Turned water back on and tested. No more leaks. Backfilled as best we could to grade after testing. 1 yr warranty on repair. Charged card on file and emailed invoice and pictures per request.
Pull and reset master toilet , cleared blockage with camera
Call for bidet not functioning correctly. Arrived and discussed concerns. Mr. Bash states bidet is around one year old. He has replaced the remote batteries in the last couple days. Remote shows three red lights. Flush button work. Light, bidet cleaning feature both respond to remote.Bidet does not. When bidet is activated three red lights appear on remote. Removed filter from shut off valve and found it had some small amount of debris. Cleaned filter and replaced. Tested bidet cleaning feature and still had low flow, and bidet feature wouldn’t activate (showing three solid red lights again). Pressure on house is 55 psi. Home has moen Flo to warn of any unusual pressure issues. No kinks in hoses, or other installation errors present. When following deer valley trouble shooting we are left at two options, a replacement nozzle and a solenoid failure. Deer valley recommends emailing the support email for replacement parts and confirmation. I attempted to call on behalf of Mr. Bass but w
Homeowner states that he moved in about 2 years ago and the basement kitchen faucet had low pressure but in the last weeks it’s gotten worse and he can’t use it. Upon arrival homeowner greeted me on driveway and showed me to the basement kitchen where the faucet is located. I could see that the pressure was basically nonexistent and I simply cleaned the aerator part and that solved the issue. Homeowner is satisfied with the service but the faucet itself did leak a bit and the sprayer handle leaks any time water is used. I offered a couple of solutions to homeowner and he is interested in replacing the unit at a later date.
Customer stated that there was a leak coming from chandelier and bathroom on main floor. Recommended to customer to have sheet rock cut and ceiling. Customer agreed and went ahead and cut sheet rock to inspect. Found that leak is coming from Jacuzzi tub in bathroom above. Send it to customer that we do not work on Jacuzzi tubs. Also inspected water lines going up to tub fixture and also drain and didn’t notice any leaks from those points at this time. Cleaned up work area. Recommended reliable restoration to come out. Also, Chen plumbing is not responsible for sheet rock repair.
