I am so, so impressed with not only the quality of the work Christian did, but also the attention to detail, deep knowledge, communication, and clear pride that he brought to every interaction. Matt was very fast, thoughtful and helpful. Our water heater burst back in November. We called Chen and they were able to send out Matt pretty fast. He drained the water out so we can have hot water same day and replaced the heater the next day, which we really appreciate since winter was coming. He also explained everything clearly when we have questions after the service about the new pressure valve, and we paid very reasonable price for everything. Our water heater is working really well! I will recommend him to anyone!

Adjusted water heater temperature to hotter per owner requested from 120 degree to 130 degree
Run snake through kitchen drain and attempt to clear stoppage. Customer stated that kitchen sink drain was stopped up and wasn’t draining. Stated to customer best step will be able to run snake through drain and clear stoppage. Customer greets so went ahead and ran snake. Cleared stoppage about 30 to 40 feet out. Pulled back what looked to be like a Clorox wipe. Filled sink up multiple times to test in kitchen sink is now draining as it should and no leaks were present at this time. Cleaned up work area. Also, Chen plumbing doesn’t warrantee any drain cleaning.
Came out due to water service line leak just outside the home. Not completely sure whether it is broken by foundation wall or further out. Client remembers a couple/few leaks on this same water line that is from the 80’s. Gave options for repair and replacement. Client needs to speak with husband before making a decision. Advised client we would get on it asap when they decide what they would like to do regarding the water line. Will credit back SF.
For this customer we installed a new pressure regulator valve due because the water pressure was reading at a 120psi indicating failure of the pressure regulator valve. We installed a new prv along with a new 1/4 ball valve. The previous shut off valve was gate valve. The homeowner has a brown water in his hot water, so therefore I recommend to flush the water heater to see if that helps with the discoloration of the water. The water heater is from 2018 if this issue persists with the brown water, I recommend replacing the water heater at this time. There are no leaks. The customer is all set to use his new shut off valve as he wishes along with the new regulated pressure. The homeowner has a leak at the water meter could indicate why the customer is having the brown water. The leak is between two of the curb stops on the county meter so therefore I’m not sure if it’s something that we can fix and or if it’s the county responsibility, more than likely, it is the county responsibility a
Returned to install 16 inch frost free hose bib that we ordered a couple weeks back. After installation secured hose bib to wall and used quick Crete to seal old penetration for standard hose bib checked for leaks and proper
For this customer they got a few things that are wanting done, I gave different solutions on what we can do for them, they need a shower valve installed in the guest hallway bathroom, they need two new service stop valves installed underneath the lavatory sink, a new hose Bibb in the front of the home, followed by removal of plumbing in there basement, they want to go a different route so that’s why they wanted it removed. At this time these are just estimates. One thing to note, on the water heater, there is a possible back draft issue due to the melted plastic on the nipples, I would seek for a hvac contractor to take a look at the venting. The water heater is on a plastic pan which is strongly not recommended.
For this job, I did a couple things replaced the angle stop on the toilet due to a small drip coming off of the angle stop following that replace the supply line in the discussion plate once complete. There are no leaks. Also went ahead and install the new toilet handle, followed by a fill valve and a new flapper got rid of the old system. The customer had updated it a little bit to furthermore, we also Replaced the price Fister shower cartridge upstairs. The customer wasn’t getting any hot water in the guest hallway bathroom so therefore that is what I recommended we replace is the cartridge and it did the fixed perfectly fine. CUSTOMER has hot water and there’s no further issues with that went back with white caulk to seal the trim plate. No leak after installation. Customer decided to sign up for our membership, so thank you and the customer is all set until further notice.
Installed new 4” spread lav faucet in main bathroom inside front door, with new pop up assembly, and also new cpvc water stops due to the cpvc pipes not being very sturdy I was worried about snapping the pipe somewhere else so I cut the, off and installed new with new supply lines and also installed customer supplied comfort tee for the previously installed grundfos recirc pump. Let glue dry then turned water back on to test. No leaks or issues.
For this customer took a look at all his fixtures. He had moved in about a couple weeks ago to this new house and there’s no tell on what fixtures were used previously from the prior homeowners so there was a little bit of discoloration in the water, causing these issues so what I recommended is, we could flush the water heater, but it could have a Negative effect on the water heater or the plumbing system so what I recommended is we can flush the water heater, but there would be no guarantee that it would solve the problem of the brown water that’s potentially in the water. I think they just need to be flushed out all the faucets to get all the brown water out of the system and go from there at this time I recommended to replace the pressure reducing valve due to the fact that the pressure is at 1:20 and should be a lot lower than that so that is what we will be replacing on Sunday. It works better for the customer so at this time, we have a scheduled job for a PRV replacement on Sund
For this customer he wanted us to install a recirculating pump on the hot water line and install it with the flexible connection on the gas water heater, i told them unfortunately we don’t use the flexible connections so therefore we have to hard pipe the water lines and that is what we completed. To add to that, the comfort valve needs to be installed as well. We did not do this part of the service due to fact of the current configuration of the supply lines underneath the sink and the faucet. The faucets are 20 years old and the supply lines are as well. The service stops are on cpvc and followed by Pex supply lines that are 20 years old. In order to install the comfort valve properly we would have to have the faucet replaced in order to make the proper connections. At this time the homeowner declined, to do that part of the service, didn’t complete due to liable issues. Recommendation to install the comfort valve tee Replace lavatory faucet, replace both hot and cold service stops
Customer wanted sewer line reviewed for new buyer pulled toilet to camera line after camera work reset toilet and checked for leaks and proper function. Reviewed issue with water heater gave options to repair/replace customer wanted to wait on heater work.
Customer had main line break on 1” PVC due to sharkbite repair. Gave option to repair or replace line. Also looked to replace main valve with ball valve for easier usage and replace hose Bibb with frost free hose Bibb. Repaired section of main line and waited for glue to dry. Cut on water and checked for leaks. Will return for other work. Had to redo repair because fitting separated. Waited for glue checked for leaks. Backfilled hole.

Customer stated that there was low flow on hot water and shower. Tested and found that on cold side water pressure was fine and then as soon as we went to the hot side, there was no water pressure. Turn water off the house and took a part to inspect cartridge and shower valve. Didn’t find any issues or buildup on cartridge. Stated to customer that the best moving step will be is to replace the shower valve. At this time, customer did want to proceed with any further work. Will semd estimates for plumbing repair repairs needed.
