System is a 5 ton indoor unit with a supplemental heat kit that requires a minimum circuit ampacity of 56A, current wiring is not rated for the electrical load which is why the wires going to the disconnect are starting to discolor and overheat, photo attached. System is running 8 gauge wire on a 50 amp breaker. Should be 6 gauge wire on a 60 amp breaker.
