Completed heat maintenance, talked with rheem support, had to adjust CFM for zone 1 so furnace will operate. A bypass needs to be installed.

Started both units. Checked ac, adjusted Freon, we will need to return to check pressures again when weather warms. Started and checked both furnaces. Both drains properly nd delta t is good. Programmed both thermostats. Left both furnaces in heat at 60 degrees.

Arrived to No Cool Identified burnt drive board. Some kind of snake or rodent got into the control panel and grounded/shorted out the board. Installed new drive board and tested system. Functions in low to mid cool during modulation as well as high cool DCM1 complete; AC; (1) F16251 replaced. System is fully functional. All components are operating within manufacturer specifications. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor conditions.

Dropped off 2 A/C portables, homeowner asked if she could install them, told her how to do it and gave her tape. Checked outdoor unit for update.

Upon arrival saw thermostat code (A929_O 240V Missing or inverter comm failure). Went to outdoor unit tested voltage for disconnect, contactor and transformer received 240. Checked communication wires and wire nuts, checked continuity through communication wires. Checked molex plugs on drive board for voltage got 240. Checked molex plugs on control board and drive board to make sure they were secure. Turned off outdoor and indoor units for 15 mins to do a hard reset, turned back on checked thermostat still giving code from arrival, cleared fault on thermostat, fault immediately came back. Homeowner wants a portable until drive board gets replaced, told her I could do it tomorrow afternoon.

Removed old equipment and installed new carrier package unit a/c with electric heat. Installed fresh air damper and new thermostat. Reconnected high voltage, low voltage and drain line. Tested system operations in heating and cooling.
