DCM2 service 1 of 2 Heat completed changed (2) 16 3/8 x 21 1/2 x 1 filters tested operations, both indoor evaporator coils are severely impacted with dust and debris, to the point which negatively affects airflow, efficiency and indoor air quality. Both air handler blower wheels are also impacted that affects indoor airflows, and efficiency. Upstairs unit capacitor is 7.5MFD reading 6.27 and, is out of range, failure of part would result in no AC. Main floor capacitor 7.5MFD reading 5.16, and is out of range, failure of part would result in no AC. Both evaporator coils show significant rust, possibility of leaks are increased with amount of rust. System are both from 2007 and are 16 years old. Average lifespan of system is 10-15 years of age.
