During my inspection today, I found a few issues with the basement level system that I needed to bring to the customers attention. But starting off when I first arrived to customer informed me about what was going on. He said that the system, would continuously run in the heat mode even when he would go to shut the system off or turn it to Ac. He said the temperature got about 74 his home. The thermostat was set to 68. He said the only way he can get the unit to stop with the turn the breaker off on the indoor unit. during my inspection today, I was unable to replicate this problem so I am on able to diagnose what was happening. If I had to take a guess I would assume that the thermostat was going bad. But I have no certain way of being sure of this. I did, however, find other major issues with the system. The first major issue that I found was that the system is completely flat on refrigerant, reading zero psi on both sides , and then pulling into a vacuum when the compressor tried t

Arrived at customers daughters residence and I was greeted by the customers father and was led to the attic area and found that furnace was not running upon arrival. Inspected flame sensor and it is clean at this time. Inspected ignitor and it is functioning properly at this time. Inspected inducer draft motor and itnis functioning properly at this time. Inspected pressure switch and it is not functioning at this time.. inspected exhaust and found no blockages at this time they are primed and glued and and also pitched properly at this time. Also inspected evaporator coil and it is dirty at this time. Mr Presley advised me that they are not looking to replace system at this time. Used inspection camera to look inside and outside of heat exchanger and found a couple suspicious area in exchanger.. inspected all drains at they are clear at this time. Reset roll out switch and it is resetting and system will ignite and run for several minutes and then drop out on roll out trip and then

. Ck upstairs unit for cooling PM blower amps 1.4 coil clean drain clean. Upstairs outdoor unit 5.6 amps compressor.9 amp fan motor coil is clean. Downstairs unit outdoor coil clean compressor amps 6.2 and cond motor amps .8 pressures on both systems are good at this time. Also air filters need to be replaced at this.

Inspected heat strips, heat strips are pulling 19 amps at this time. Inspected blower motor, housing and wheel. Motor is spinning freely at this time. housing and wheel are clean at this time. Inspected cabinet for cleanness, cabinet is clean at this time. Cleared drain line, drain is clean at this time. Inspected air filter (1) 20X20X1 filter is clean at this time. H/P Inspected high and low voltage wiring, all electrical wiring is intact and tight at this time. Inspected OFM, motor is spinning freely and operating properly at this time. Inspected run capacitors 70 -/+5% and 7.5 uF -/+5%capacitor is working within range at this time. Inspected defrost mode, defrost is working properly at this time. Inspected compressor, compressor is working properly at this time. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures 386/120 and 157/91 Cycled system on h
