Customer had a toilet that had water getting on the floor. Customer also was concerned that the wax ring was breached. Upon inspection, found that there was a heavy tank to bowl leak from the front of the tank. This was running onto the floor and pooling. Recommended rebuilding the internals and replacing Cimmaron tank to bowl gasket as a first step. Repaired the toilet, removed the silicone from the base, and flushed many times to ensure no water was coming from the base. Informed the customer that no water is coming from the base at this time, but if any more water presents itself a price was left for a pull and reset as well as a stop repair because it isn’t holding all the way. Customer requested not caulking the base of the bowl to make it easier to see if water appears. Cautioned the customer that this can cause movement in the toilet more easily and customer understood. Tested all my work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found.
