Call for gas leak in home. Arrived and discussed issue with Grace. She stated that her roommate just purchased the home approximately two weeks ago and they smelled a a gas smell. A contractor came out and determined smell was near stove/oven, and gas was turned off to unit (not locked out) at meter. We are unable to remove appliances, and a contractor must remove the oven before we are able to perform gas leak detection and repairs. Once oven is removed we can return to assess gas leak. While on site we also found several issues that need to be addressed. Water pressure reads at over 100 psi, and requires a new pressure regulating valve to correct. A plastic hot water line in the attic has been severely bent and has a risk of causing water damage if it ruptures, and I recommend correcting with an appropriate fitting to change direction of the pipe without stressing the pipe. Last issue is gas lines outside. They have visible rust and do not have the required protective coating ov
