Christian was polite and courteous and this has to do with Chen not him. I had a shower drain cleaned. He used something called an air snake. Just took two guys about 40minutes (most of the time was getting the paperwork done) and it was $498. I agreed to the price because it was quick service. Six days later I get a call from the homeowner saying the water will not drain again. I called Chen to come back and look at it. To be clear the pipe is cast-iron and I realize there will continually be problems, but this time it probably would’ve taken in 10 minutes to try. They were going charge me another $498 to use the air snake again or a hand crank snake. I wanted him to use some sort of power snake, but they don’t carry one. I declined the service so they still charge me $49 for the service call. I understand you can’t guarantee all drains, but you need to look at these situations on a case by case basis. If they would have allow the tech to spend a few minutes trying I probably would have used Chen again as needed in the future. Now I will not use them for any of my properties.
