Brought in the power auger and hit serious resistance about 12 feet in! Broke through what felt like grease buildup mixed with food debris. Ran water for 15 mins after clearing to ensure good flow. Everything working great now! Showed homeowner how grease + food scraps = big trouble over time. Recommended monthly treatment with enzyme cleaner to prevent future buildup. Quick tip: told them to always run cold water when using disposal, not hot (keeps grease solid so it can be chopped up). Nice folks - will definitely call Chen again!
