Customer had a high water bill. Customer has leak detection equipment and asked if I would be able to determine the leak source. Informed the customer I’m not trained on that equipment and there are conditions needed to accurately detect the leak, the main condition being at least 1 gpm of water loss. Customer has about a tenth of a gallon leaking per minute, so leak detection won’t be an accurate way to find the leak. Isolated the shutoff inside and checked the meter, no water was moving, so the leak isn’t on the water service. Isolated the water heater and the meter wasn’t moving. This is an indication that the leak is on a hot loop under the slab inside/under the home. Left options for diagnostics to install shutoffs and determine which loop the leak is on, as well as a price to properly secure the thermal expansion tank to make it safe. Pricing includes pressure regulator replacement since water pressure is above 75 psi. Also, left a price to rework all the water lines in the home
