Returned today to cut out the 2 40 gal electric lowboy water heaters that were leaking in the crawlspace with 1 new Rheem pro series 50 gal electric lowboy water heater. Installed up to code with new properly supported thermal expansion tank. Piped the new water heater in 3/4” pex a with new ball valve for the water heater and also new 1/2” pex a ball valve in proper configuration for the hose bib connection just outside the crawlspace and re routed the line with some new supports. Added new tee at the water heater for the expansion tank then connected. Connected the hot side then connected the electrical. Turned water back on and tested, no leaks. Once all air was out of the new water heater, turned breaker on. Water heater is now heating and operating as it should be. Home water pressure was good at 50 psi, safe range is 50-79 psi. 6 yr manufacturer warranty 2 yr parts and labor warranty from us
