Purge Upon arrival spoke with customer, customer is explaining that majority of 1st floor and son’s bedroom was not getting any heat. Hydro unit is on/running. Boiler is on/running providing other zone heat. While on site inspecting boiler 1st floor zone pump was making louder than normal sound. Check pump amperage to be lower than set speed factory rating. Check and adjusted flow check. Notice supply line is colder than 1st floor return line. Shut power to boiler and proceed purging process for 1st floor zone. Bled zone and got 1st flow zone working normally. At this time 1st floor return drain valve was notice to have minor drip @ valve. Installed drain cap @ valve. Informed customer of issue with valve not holding correctly. Recommending to customer to have 1st floor and 2nd floor drain valve upgraded to combi drain and purge. 2nd floor valve is broken @ handle. System is back to normal operation @ this time. Recommending customer to follow up and schedule heating maintenance. x2
