Customer had water leaking from the bathroom into the living room. Customer stated there have been leaks before, but caulking the hardware corrected it. Bathroom was remodeled 8 years ago with relatively new plumbing. Noted some cracks in the grout and gave customer option to cut ceiling and diagnose the leak. Customer opted to grout the tub first, but will call for quoted price if the leak still persists after it’s grouted. Flushed the tankless unit in the home, cleaned the condensate trap, and cleaned the air intake filter. Turned heater back on and tested for proper function and no leaks. None were found at this time. Made customer aware that since the heater hasn’t been flushed before that issues can arise from flushing suck as leak or mechanical malfunction. Applied customers 59 dollar coupon to the work.
