Job Checkin

Homeowner had previously had us out to do an inspection and they wanted the garbage disposal replaced due to it leaking and they later approved which I returned to install today. Upon arrival homeowner greeted me and had agreed to replace the garbage disposal with a new 3/4 hp badger. I removed the old one and also the old collar and installed everything new with plumbers putty to create a seal. Once it was almost set in I asked the homeowners if they wanted me to fix the drain line for the garbage disposal because there was a gray fernco which could leak in the future and they agreed. I used a hub saver and reused the same 2 WYE and glued in a new piece of 1-1/2 pvc pipe and used a new p trap to which I also glued in the pipe. Once enough time passed for the glue to cure I hung the new disposal and installed the new tubular pipe and ran water to ensure there were no leaks. No leaks were found and homeowner is satisfied with the service provided.
