Homeowner called and states that he had a leak in the yard next to the water meter and had it repaired but could hear the pipe banging and water running inside the walls and turned off the water meter. Upon arrival homeowner greeted me in front of driveway and showed me the water meter and I had him turn it back on and we went inside and I could hear the water running inside the wall in laundry room and headed to basement to locate the main water shut off to attempt and see if the leak was inside the home or outside in the yard. Homeowner didn’t know where the whole home shut off was located and I pinpoint it to the bathroom basement ceiling but homeowner refused any cut in ceiling saying that if I couldn’t locate it there was going to be hole there and possibly another hole elsewhere. I explained that I was sure that the water line came in somewhere between the basement bathroom and GWH but homeowner was not convinced so he refused any work.
