Remove 2 3/4 old gate valve ps and install 2 new quarter turn ball valves. Customer stated that in guest house three handle shower valve broke and wouldn’t shut off. Stated to customer that shower valve will need to be replaced to a single handle shower valve. At this time, customer just wanted water shut off to guest house. So in crawlspace, found both hot and cold shut off, but wasn’t able to shut off due to corrosion on gate valves. Recommended to have valves replaced in customer agreed. Went ahead and installed new quarter turn ball valves. Turn water back on and tested, and no leaks were present at this time. And now there is no water going to guest house. Will send estimate to install single handle shower valve.
