Call for steam shower issue. Arrived and met with Austin and Ms. Josephine. Austin states that the steam unit in the master shower has power, but won’t produce steam. It has been installed for many years, potentially 7-10 years. It has worked fine until the last few months. Inspection revealed the following: Steam control unit in shower does have power. Steam unit is located in the attic above master bathroom. Flood stop automatic shut off was showing that it has activated, and the valve was closed. Rust marks and signs of water escape present on the side of the unit and the drain pan. T&p line empties straight in to pan above flood stop sensor. I turned valve open, and Austin stated steam unit still not functioning. To ensure we assess the entire system, I went to check water pressure at the water heater.
