Returned and installed new Navien NPE240A2 in the front of the home. Went of the logistics of location with customer again and reconfirmed that the front of the house install was ok since a bush is hiding it from plain view. Ran new pex water supplies to the front through cinder block and attached with 1 inch walled insulation to the new unit. Ran a new gas line to the unit from the meter and installed an outdoor vent topper and box below the unit. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Customer didn’t have an electrician install and outdoor gfci box yet. Ran an extension cable until the line can be run. Customer requested that the old water heater be left where it is. Installed an isolation valve for the outgoing hot, isolated both water lines, and pulled the breaker.
