Came out for high water bill. Had to probe around and find meter as it was buried under 10” of dirt. Located meter, confirmed a leak after the meter. Shut valve inside house, meter continued spinning indicating a leak on the service line. Dug past the meter, did not find the leak. Kept digging holes until we found where the water was coming from. Found a break on the old 10’ away from the meter. Dug up and cut out the leaking section. Replaced with pex. Allowed adequate time for glue to fully cure before testing. Tested repair and confirmed no leaks. Confirmed meter was no longer spinning. No further issue at this time. 2 year warranty on repaired section only. Thank you for choosing Chen Plumbing.
