Client called us out due to main water service line leak in the yard. House is from the 60’s and the water service was original. It was decided it best to replace that leaking water service from meter in yard up to the home. Ran new trench from meter to home and layed our 3/4” pex a pipe in the trench with the only 2 connections being at the meter and inside the house. Added new pressure reducing valve as well as new ball valve shutoff for the whole house, as well as for the front hose bib. Added new meter nipple and new dual check valve at the meter required by code. Sealed the foundation with hydraulic cement after testing. No more leaks. Full replacement has 5 yr warranty.
