Homeowner states that he noticed water running down the sidewalk from his front yard and called us out to fix the issue. Upon arrival homeowner greeted me in front yard and showed me the water and where he thinks it’s coming from the yard. I also did my inspection and found that the PRV isn’t working the GWH is 14+ years old and there is a broken CPVC condensation pipe broken and leaking into the foundation that needs to be fixed but homeowner only wanted the main water line fixed. After he agreed to do the repair I began by digging up the yard where it most likely could be and I had to cut a lot of tree roots and I found it coming from a section that a rock was rubbing the line until it caused it to leak. I then removed the dirt around it and used a McDonald compression coupling for 1 inch pipe and tightened it down. Once it was set in I turned on the water and waited for a few minutes and no leaks or issues were found. Homeowner is satisfied with the service provided.
