Customer had a water bill that tripled. Inspected the meter and confirmed it was moving and that there was a leak. Isolated the shutoff inside and there was no movement so the leak is inside. Found a running toilet upstairs, isolated the valve, and the meter stopped moving. Repaired the leak on the toilet and tested, no additional leaks were found at this time. Was unable to replace the toilet supply because it’s built into the stop. Made customer aware that if the supply line or stop fail, we will have to repair both at the same time. Left price for new 75 gallon water heater and pump because the heater is over 10 years old.
