Customer had a 20 year old water heater that wouldn’t stay lit. Replacement was recommended. Customer approved the work and the old heater was removed and a new 40 gallon gas tall heater was installed in the floor in a new pan. Had to cut a gas line out of the way to access and made customer aware that the 4x3 wye was deteriorating. Recommended having an hvac tech inspect for a repair. Tested all water and gas connections to ensure proper function and no leaks.
