Call for toilet leaking in basement ceiling. Arrived and met with Ms. Paula. She noticed water stains and wet ceiling tiles in the basement this week, she had guests over this Tuesday and mentioned that on of them said the toilet did feel loose. I inspected the basement ceiling and removed (and disposed of at Ms. Paula’s request) five ceiling tiles affected by sewage. Subfloor showed no moisture or damage, and no sewage remains. Inspected toilet and found left side had incredibly loose bolt with saw marks. Toilet was loose and unsecured. Removed toilet and installed the American standard toilet provided by Ms. Paula. New toilet, wax seal, supply line. Applied silicone to base and advised to please not get wet or apply chemicals for 24 hours. During this work Ms. Paula and I also discussed concerns with copper pipes and the pinholes, water quality, and preparing for a fridge replacement.
