Client called us out due to them finding a nail in a 2” drain pipe while replacing the houses siding. The drain line affected services the kitchen drain pipes. We cut out the affected fittings and pipe, reamed out the bottom side of the top tee, then added the new tee and connected to the slab drain with a 2 45 degree offset as it was, and a 2” no hub band shielded coupling. Before we reconnected the 1 1/2” line back, I grabbed my small ridgid chain snake and cleaned out the pipe from the huge amount of buildup in the pipe. Ran water to flush it all out, then put the pipe back together. Let glue set up for a few minutes, then tested. Drain is flowing as it should, with no more leaks. 1 yr warranty on this repair. DOES NOT COVER PUNCTURES TO PIPE.
