Upon arrival, customer informed us that there has been a small leak near the foundation of the home. Gave customer prices to either replace or repair the service through the foundation. Customer opted for repair. Upon excavation determined the leak to be coming from the area of a Cpvc pipe that was bent through the foundation. Noted that a quest fitting was used to connect to well pipe (black pipe with blue lettering). This isn’t a recommended pipe for a city water connection due to the chemicals in non-well water supplies breaking the line down. Customer approved work to return Wednesday 12/31/25 and bore the whole service to do a pex water service to ensure the longevity of the line. Description of sold work on 12/29/25: Price is to excavate water service by foundation and bring copper line through the foundation. Will remove bushes to access water service.
