Client called us out today due to the tenant seeing a leak showing in ceiling below that upstairs hallway bathroom tub. Inspected that upstairs tub, and found a few different issues with it. There’s a large crack in the grout for the tile, there’s a large gap behind the tub spout and tile, and there’s also a crack in the Sheetrock just outside the bathtub. Also, the fiberglass tub flexes a ton, which it should not do. Left estimate to properly fix all the issues. Client wanted us to at least fill in the gaps with caulk for a temporary hold, though I cannot guarantee that will provide much help. We caulked the cracks and gaps that we could see to try to stop water intrusion to the wall as NO WARRANTY. Will credit back half of today off of the quoted work if done within 30 days.
