Call for clogged toilet. Arrived and found men’s restroom toilet clogged. Used auger to clear localized blockage. While inspecting inspection I found that the toilet is incredibly old. The gaskets are in a SEVERELY deteriorated state. The flapper is falling apart. I strongly encourage replacing this toilet before it leaks on to floor. I am proving estimates for a regular toilet, and for a pressure assist. The women’s restroom has a pressure assist toilet already. During this work I noted that water was coming out forcefully from faucets. I went to basement to check water pressure at the water heater. Water pressure is approximately 72psi, 12pm on weekday. Water heater is 24 years old and developing a leak on old galvanized waterline on hot outlet. I recommend replacing this water heater immediately, as it is far past its life expectancy.
