Job Checkin

Client called us out due to their guys while working finding/hitting the main water line that had a pinhole in it right at the bend in the pipe before going into the home. There was just not enough pipe sticking out to be able to fix it just outside, so we removed that pipe from the foundation, drilled the hole out, then inserted the new type L copper pipe with tape around the pipe as a sleeve. Connected the copper to the 3/4” black poly outside and then reconnected to the copper inside. Did have to cut small hole in basement Sheetrock to do repair, but was able to put an access panel over the hole. Hydraulic cemented both inside and out after testing. Also backfilled hole for client as their client was worried about the water line being exposed in the cold temps. They are good to go, no more leaks. Bill out.
