Ran call for leaking master bathroom shower. After some investigating we discovered that the leak is coming from the tile located at the bottom of the shower pan. When water runs down the wall the moisture works finds its way behind the cracked tile and drips on the basement floor. Homeowner is gonna try to get the tile repaired, if they can’t find the exact replacement tile they will have to he the entire shower retiled. At that point I would recommend installing a new shower pan even though the existing one is in good shape. Charged $59 dollar dispatch fee for today’s visit, homeowner will go online to pay remaining job balance. Emailed copy of invoice to homeowners email. Will have separate shower pan estimate emailed over to homeowner by later this evening.
Installed 2” oatey shower drain with new 2” pvc trap, shiver drain is now operating as it should with no issues. Emailed copy of todays invoice to homeowners email. **please contact Tammy to collect the remaining job balance, I did not have service while I was onsite.
Ran call for leak at master bathroom shower drain. The leak is coming from between the gasket and 2” pvc piping. Tried to install a new gasket, but had no success. Drain needs to be replaced/re-piped as soon as possible. Did not have the material on my truck to re-pipe the drain today, will return on 02/26/2025 between 2-4 to complete proposed work.

Found the overflow gasket for the master bathroom tub was unseated and loose Resecured tub overflow and ran water to additionally test drain for leaks No other leaks found at the time, called Matt to get an overflow gasket on order should any further issues arise from this gasket
Customer has a leak doesn't appear everything he showers. The area where it sometimes comes through is dry. Looking at the tile the bench seat has some areas that needs resealed. Customer also wanted an estimate on filtration.
Found a large gap in the tile between the grouting leading to the floor, this could cause a leak to proceed through the sub flooring Into the living room below, added silicone sealant to tub rim to prevent any further leaking from this joint Should the customer notice any further water give us a call Did not charge for misdiagnosis last week
Customer needed the supply valve reinstalled. After testing the supply line wasn't long enough to prevent it from leaking. Installed a new supply line as a courtesy
Homeowner needs to contact a appliance company for the gas stove top and Paynes pools for the gas log fireplace. Vern’s plumbing does not work on existing appliances, but we will install new ones. Offered the free whole home inspection while I was onsite, the homeowner did not want it performed at this time. Still wrote two estimates to replace the existing main water gate valve and pressure reducing valve. Pressure reducing is operating as it should at this time, recommend updating it due to the age /corrosion build up on the valve. Sent copy of todays invoice to homeowners email.
Open small section of the wet ceiling to better locate source of drain or water leak After opening wall found the recently installed fan is possibly cracking the drywall at the tape joint, let customer know to leave this hole open for a few days in order to rule out any further notion of a leak, after then to have a drywall professional take a look to give a proper repair on the drywall
Installed 1054 water right air sulfur filter in garage utility room. This unit will correct the sulfur issue/smell and iron. Backwash line will be ran to the outside of the building or 2” drain for the washer. Filter comes with a lifetime warranty on the tank and 3 year warranty on the head/parts. Filter will have to be serviced every 3-5 years, homeowner is aware of this. IMPS 1054 sulfur filter is operating as it should at this time with no issues, told homeowner to give it a full week before it goes into full affect. Sulfur smell is gonna linger around on the hot side until all of the raw sulfur water has been flushed from the tank. **Ended flushing the heater as a courtesy while I as onsite.
