Customer was not getting hot water upstairs immediately after recirculate pump install had it set up to auto adapt but that wasn't working for them. Now its set 24/7 and they got hot water 3 seconds after valve was opened
Customer needed an inspection for his apartment. Needs it every year for the hoa. Inspected and only found that the laundry on the hot side leaks when closed
Customer was looking for estimates on replacing a kitchen faucet bathroom vanity faucet and an outside hydrant. Left estimates for all of those and also left estimates for getting the valves taken care of.
Customer has a faucet and shower head in the master that flows poorly. They also have a leak under their kitchen sink because of poor piping. Removed the flow reducer out of the shower head in the master but the vanity faucet needs a new aerator. Customers basement show head is old and should just replace it is full of water and is having a tough time flowing.
Replace customers grundfos comfort pm recirculate pump on top of heater Returned and replaced the grundfos recirculation pump. Had to cut back farther than first expected so i had to remove the valve from the return side and added one on the discharge side so that in the future we can isolate the valve and remove the pump easier if needed.
Customer needs to speak with husband but is comfortable with price. Did not want home inspection today. Customer needs their recirculate pump replaced. grundfos comfort pm would need ordered and we would need a couple of days heads up prior to work
Removed trap assembly in employee bathroom to find debris within the pop-up assembly and trap Removed drain components and pushed paper towel through to clear debris before reinstalling No further issues with the drain or sink at the time
Installed 1054 IMPRC water right water softer in basement utility room. Power will be ran to the washing machine outlet and the backwash line will be ran to the 3” pvc stack. Also installed 1/2” gas valve on existing 50 gallon NG water heater, 3/4” pp ball valve on existing 50 gallon NG heater, 2 gallon expansion tank and flushed the tank. Financing with Service Finance $5,000.00, deferred inetrest for 14 months. New unit is working as it should at this time with no issues. Sent copy of invoice to homeowners email.
Will return to install 1054 IMPRC water softener, 1/2” gas shutoff valve and 3/4” pp shutoff valve on existing 50 gallon NG water heater. Material has already been ordered, please contact the homeowner to schedule the install. Sent copy of todays invoice/estimate to homeowners email.
Installed new handle and flapper assembly Found the existing handle had broken in half, and the connection piece of the chain was not found New handle and flapper will correct this issue
Completed $29 whole home inspection, starting with the kitchen found an issue with the kitchen faucet aerator spraying water onto the counter tops and along the top of the sink, customer has new faucet in hand and pricing was provided to replace No other issues found within the kitchen, looked at water heater located in one of the first hallway closets and found the 20 year old heater still producing hot water however with a blown lower element, this can cause the runtime of the heater to be half or less than average, as the heater is not able to adequately heat with only one element, given the age of the heater the technician recommends replacing with a new 50 gallon electric heater, which will come with a new expansion tank and water heater drain pain. As well as correcting the water piping issue, water heaters require a minimum of 18” of copper piping from the top of the heater, existing material is only CPVC.
