Carlos did a great job. Found a piece of a "snake head - metal" in the drain. Vern's Pluming always does a great job & has of over the past 12 years.
Christian was very helpful and gave me lots of useful tips. He made the extra effort to arrive before I had to leave, even though the weather was awful. He replaced my garbage disposal easily and quickly. Thank you Christian!
Christian did an excellent job of installing a new Moen kitchen faucet. As always, recommend Vern Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.
I have used this plumbing company for years and they always quickly discover and solve problems. This week’s challenge was a leaky sink. Nathan looked over the problem two days ago. He was great explaining everything and providing me options. He returned this morning to install the new faucet. He is very professional but also very friendly. The new faucet looks great and is perfect for the space.
Always have great experiences with this company. Nathan was great arriving between the scheduled time frame. Took the time to evaluate the leaking under the kitchen sink. Appreciated the explanation of the problem and several options for the repair.
Nathan was on time & did an excellent job unclosing an outside drain. Well done job. Always recommend Verns Plumbing to all.
Existing 14 year 50 gallon short water heater is working as it should at this time with no issues. Still recommend we replace the heater due to the age and newer code requirements that are required for city water. Emailed copy of invoice and estimate to homeowners email.
Customer was previously having a water hammer due to the expansion tank having a busted bladder and not allowing expansion air to enter. Now the water hammer isn't as persistent but when the washer machine turns on and off theyre having a hammer now because of the sudden movement of water in the pipes. Adding water hammer arresters on the hot and cold side will remove the water hammer from the washer machine
Replace expansion on top of heater. Drain the heater enough to remove expansion tank and install new one. Returned and replaced the expansion tank. This should prevent the pressure from rising in the closed system they have. Prv is set to 65
Customer called us out for a water hammer that while I was their they showed me on their phone but had the water running in the shower prior to my arrival. Once there i was able to observe the pressure rise on the prv from 60-100. Opened the laundry sink and it dropped right back to 60 and started to climb again. Prv is new main valve is new. Expansion tank is full of water and should be replaced this will allow the expansion air being created while heating water. Customers t&p valve was pressed against the wall and was unable to release any of the pressure if needed trapped in the system during heating. Customer did not want inspection today and is calling insurance to see if they'll help with payment on the expansion tank replacement
Remove and replace frost hydrant on side of customers house. Replaced and secured it to the house and added thumb gum to prevent it from leaking back into the crawl space. Tested and checked to make sure it operated with out leaks and everytbing is working as intended
Clear area waste drain in back if the house stair well. Had to start by vacuuming out the dirt and debris from inside the trap. Ran my cables 35 feet and tested to see if there was flow. Dumped 3 buckets of water to make sure the drain was working continuously with no problems. As of now the drain is cleared and it shouldn't back up

Spoke with customer about a few options regarding repairs in the home The upstairs master shower is leaking from a few spaces in the tile Ran water from the shower but was unable to recreate the leak Using a cup, poured some water down the tile wall and was able to recreate the leak that way Customer isn’t particularly interested in having the tile wall redone, and was curious if we ordered a fiberglass insert option We are uncertain we’d be able to find a shower insert to fit this particular location Guided customer to call bathfitters, who specialize in custom shower inserts like the customer needs Looked at loose three handle faucet, resecured existing mounting bracket to keep faucet from moving around
Wrote up and discussed multiple repair/replacement options with homeowner. HIGHLY recommend going with the 80 electric water heater over the other two options I gave him. Homeowner will contact the office once a decision has been made. Emailed copy of invoice and estimates to homeowners.
