Excellent service!

After calling several plumbers to come and check out a water leak in my crawl space they couldn't help or didn't call back I called Vern's Plumbing and they were able to send someone the same day. They were even able to come earlier than the appointment they gave me.Even though my problem was not a leak it was from a problem with my HVAC. Chris Wilson was very professional and helped determine my problem was not a water leak. He was very helpful. I will call Vern's plumbing if I have a plumbing problem and recommend them and Chris Wilson.

I was called to a home to fix a water filtration system. When I arrived, I found that the water was not flowing properly from the faucet. I checked the pipes and found that they were clogged. I used a plunger to clear the clog, and the water started flowing again. I also checked the filter and found that it was dirty, so I replaced it with a new one. After completing the repairs, I tested the water pressure and found that it was now flowing at the correct rate. The homeowner was very happy with the service, and I left the job feeling satisfied with my work.

Existing 25 gallon pressure tank is water logged, tank needs to be replaced asap. This why the home was getting lots of sediment in the whole home filter. Installed new 36 gallon pressure tank with new tank tee kit and isolation valve. Tank comes with a standard 5 year warranty on the tank from the manufacturer. Vern’s plumbing had a standard 1 year warranty on parts/labor. Applied 10% military discount to today’s invoice. Emailed copy of invoice to homeowners email.

Warranty. Piping broke yet again. Possibly due to a bad valve we installed or pit filled back up with water from a leak within the ground. Unable to tell exactly. repaired piping and closed red handle ball valve to stop piping from leaking out in the ground. As far as sean knows, that valve being turned off isnt affecting anything. but would like pricing on repairing the line.

Ran call for possible no water to the home. The well does build the pressure tank up to 60 psi as it should, but as soon as the gauge reaches 40 psi to send power to the pump the pump does not come on right away as it should. It does eventually come on after it sits for about 5-10 minutes. Existing 32 gallon pressure tank and well pump was just installed by chuck Mullins plumbing back in 2018. The pressure tank only had 27 psi, added another 10psi to the tank since it’s operating on a 40-60 pressure switch. The pressure switch is in great condition with no burn marks and the wire going from the pressure tank to the well has continuity. Also checked for power at the pressure and well seal. All lines have 120 volts going to them as they should. I believe this issue is being caused by a faulty well pump or a partial break in the well that’s feeding the well pump. I cannot confirm the diagnosis until the pump has been pulled/inspected. It does looks like whoever did the previous install

Condensate pump for the HVAC unit has failed, this is what’s causing the standing water inside crawl space. Homeowners already had a HVAC tech tell them it was a plumbing issue… that would be false. They need to contact a HVAC company to install a new condensate pump with a alarm system. They also need to contact a water damage company to remove the standing water inside the crawl space. Collected $59 dispatch fee for todays visit. Sent copy of todays invoice to homeowners email.

Cleared/inspected 3” main sewer line and located septic lid in the front yard of the home. Line is clear and working as it should at this time with no issues. Homeowner needs to contact Ace septic asap. Tank needs to be pumped out and inspected due to the root intrusions located at the top of the lid. Once the tank is pumped we can return to camera/inspect the sewer line to make sure there no belly’s. Tank was just pumped out 1 year ago and the distribution box was repaired about a year. Vern’s plumbing cannot confirm if this a tank being full issue or a distribution issue. Ace septic will have to take care of that part. Sent copy of todays invoice/estimate to homeowners email.
