I was called to a home to fix a leaky faucet. Upon arrival, I found that the issue was a pressure reducing valve that was not working properly. I replaced the valve and tested it to ensure it was working correctly. The homeowner was very grateful for my help and thanked me for my quick and efficient service.
Installed new elements and thermostats in existing 8 year Bradford white electric water heater, heater is working it should at this time with no issues. The bottom element is still at the bottom of the heater because it was severely corroded and broke off when I attempted to pull the element out. The water in this home is VERY VERY hard. Vern’s plumbing cannot guarantee how long this repair will last and will NOT be responsible for any future issues. If this issue occurs again in the near future we will have to replace the entire unit. Emailed copy of invoice and estimates to homeowners email.
15 year old American standard toilet needs to be replaced asap, the flush on the toilet is absolutely toast. Existing 3/4” galvanized water line is leaking is the basement next to the water heater. I don’t feel comfortable performing a repair on this pipe due to the age and condition of the piping. Highly recommend we return to re-pipe all of the water lines in the home. Estimate had a description of all the work that will be performed. Emailed copy of invoice and estimates to homeowners email. Homeowner will contact the office tomorrow morning to pay the remaining job balance.

Replace sump in basement with standard zoeler m53 pump. Old pump did not have a check valve and was causing the gfci to pop. Added a checked valve and installed the new pump. Tested and checked to operation and everything is working as intended
Installed new aerator in bathroom sink faucet
Replace cartridge in master bathroom shower. Customers shower eas constantly dripping. Removed cartridge and found the gaskets to be very worn and torn on one side. Replaced cartridge but the over flow cover back on the tub and tested and checked for leaks and for operation and everything is working as it should. Left estimates to change the last few gate valves to ball valves in the two other bathrooms, kitchen and master have been updated to ball valves. Customers out front hydrant is dripping and should be replaced.
