Ran call for fluctuating water pressure throughout the home. Could not get this issue to recreate itself while I was onsite, water pressure on the well side is holding between 40-60 psi with no issues. I believe this issue is being caused by the 4 10 plus year old existing rain soft filtration systems that have never been serviced. Rain soft recently went out of business. They did send the homeowner information for another company to come out and service the units, they will be contacting them for the service. Put all 4 units in bypass for the time being, if the pressure fluctuates with the 4 units in bypass we know it’s not a filter issue and something else in the home. Also spoke with them about removing the rain soft units and installing water right units. They will make that decision after they find out what’s going on with the existing units. Sent copy of todays invoice to homeowners email. Raw water test results Hardness- 5 PH- 6.4 Iron- 4.0 plus (it’s off the c
Customer wanted estimates on finishing his bathroom. Left estimate for vanity and matt was going to do the shower.
House had flooded about half a foot prior to arrival. Customer replaced his sump pump this morning. On arrival I noticed that the water heater pilot light on a 19 year old water heater had gone out. Tried to relight for awhile and couldn’t get it to turn over. The igniter wasn’t firing every time it was pushed and it looked like there was water damage inside the burner area. Customer also didn’t have an expansion tank for this water heater and the temperature and pressure valve was dripping. Left estimates to replace heater.
Existing 1hp well pump didn’t have a torque arrestor above the pump or cable guards installed, this caused the pump wire/drop wire to rub up against the casing over time which eventuality rubbed all the way through the wire coating causing the pump to fail. Well also has a severe leak located at the pitless adapter. Installed new 1/2hpm8gpm well pump with new 10-2 wire, 1” poly, cable guards, torque arrestors and pitless adapter. New pump is working as it should at this time with no issues. **Pressure gauge is holding steady at 55psi Pump depth- 160ft Pump size- 1/2hp 7gpm Wire- 10-2 submersible Sent copy of todays invoice to homeowners email
Existing 10 year old well pump has failed and needs to be replaced asap. Install will include new pipe and wire but if the existing wire passes the continuity check we will reuse it and just replace the pump and pipe. **Job is bid for worst case scenario ***Will return on 12/20/23 to complete proposed work Pump amp draw- 0.24
Inspected faucet and shut off valves under kitchen sink. Cold side valve leaks when operated and leaks when water is used from faucet. As a courtesy I cleaned up the water, shut off the cold side supply valve for the faucet, tightened the leaking sprayer head for the faucet tightened the pvc trap which was loose and leaking. I provided estimates to replace both outdated valves and install the new c/s faucet. Homeowner wishes to receive more quotes. No charge for todays estimate
