Existing 15 year old 50 gallon natural gas water heater is operating as it should with no issues. Tank flushed out with no issues even with it being its first flush in 15 years. Theres one issue I found with the water heater. There’s no expansion tank installed on the unit and the home is being supplied by city water. Expansion tanks are required on all heaters that are being supplied by the city because it’s a constant pressure system. Water pressure in the home is currently set at 80 psi and the main water shutoff valve is a quarter turn ball valve. Tried to adjust the pressure down to 75 psi, but had no success. Highly recommend we return to install a new pressure reducing valve. Highly recommend we return to install a new 2 gallon expansion tank, pressure reducing valve and quarter shutoff valve for the refrigerator. Homeowner had no other plumbing issues or concerns at this time. Applied 10% teachers discount to all repair estimates, emailed copy of invoice and estimates to

Spoke with Jessica on price. Customer called back because after I fixed the left side of the shower valve the right side now was leaking. Prior to leaving I did check and there wasn't a leak but customer stated it was a much slower leak and was only noticed after customer took a long shower yesterday. Tested and checked for leaks and now it has no issue. Any more issues pop up we will charge for repairs.
Customer had leak that was dropping down into the ceiling in their kitchen. Cut open the ceiling to find the lines leading to the upstairs shower had water on the cold side. Went upstairs and cut behind the shower to find that the cold side of the shower valve was leaking from the female adapter tied into the cold side. Cut out and repaired the cold side. Tested and checked for leaks and operation and everything is working as intended now

Attempted to swap 10” filter housing, shut down incoming water from the pressure tank and bled water pressure from hosebib to the right of the filter room, attempted to bleed remaining pressure via the red button on the top of the housing which was jammed and not working properly, Attempted to remove filter housing with the provided filter wrench but was unable to remove. Using a small cheater bar attempted again to remove filter housing with no luck, broke the handle to the filter housing that we will replace Spoke with service manager about attempts to remove, technician suggests cutting into the existing piping and reinforcing the 10” filter housing bracket with either concrete anchors or by adding a 2x6 to secure with lag bolts, with the bracket removed installing a union to this piping to to further bleed pressure from this unit during filter changes or service.
Installed 20” C/S whole house filters. Housing for the filters came off with no issues. **Filter change took so long because I had to wait around for the filters arrive, they were not in the pump house when I arrived at the home** When I received the filters I realized that the homeowner purchased 3 20” filters and no 10” filters. Could not replace the 10” filter this time and I didn’t have one on my truck. Homeowner will have to purchase the correct filter. Added on $59 dispatch fee because I have to go pick the filters up from the homeowners house myself. Sent copy of todays invoice to Hopes email
