Came out today to look at the master bathroom shower that is not working properly. It is a Moen multi function shower valve system, and I have not been able to find the model or the parts for it, to determine an exact estimate of what it will cost to repair it. Will do some research Monday and see what we can find. Worst case scenario, we will have to cut small squares of Sheetrock in toilet room behind shower and closet behind shower to access the exiting valves and water lines. Will get client those estimates Monday as well. Client had 115 psi of water pressure. Today, we replaced the failed pressure reducing valve with new 3/4” watts 25aub pressure reducing valve. Set home pressure to 60 psi. Sent client estimates for replacing failed thermal expansion tank, and for replacing the 8 yr old water heater that is out of warranty, which includes the new thermal expansion tank. 1 yr parts and labor warranty on today’s work.
