Call for leak near water heater. Arrived and found that the top union on the recirculating pump was not tightened enough, allowing water to escape. Water has overflowed the drip pan and spilled on to unfinished floor, and has seeped in to some small spots of drywall. Reliable restoration has been contacted and will be out today to help dry water escape. While on site, I also advised Wesley that two plumbing upgrades are worth considering to protect the home and provide cleaner water.
