Client called us out due to one of the dual 50 gal nat gas water heaters leaking from a couple different places. The other heater was replaced in 2022. They were originally piped in series, which has one heater that does most of the work and the other is basically a storage tank. We replaced the failed heater with new Rheem pro series 50 gal nat gas water heater in a pan and up to code with properly supported 5 gal thermal expansion tank. We piped both water heaters in Parallel, which makes both water heaters take up an even amount of work. Added new check valve on cold feed added new tee for recirc line and new tee for expansion tank then our tee for the 2 water heaters, all in new copper pipe. Tied the hot side in as necessary with copper and fittings as well. Hooked the gas up and turned on to test. Both units are running as they should. We were out here in Feb. 2025 and replaced the failed pressure reducing valve. While doing my inspection I checked the water pressure and it was
