Remove existing water heater and haul away. Furnish and install new 40 gallon gas water heater with new tank shut off and thermal expansion tank with bracket. Also installed drip pan under heater. Shut water off to home. Drain down existing heater and cut out and hauled away. Furnished and installed new 40 gallon gas water heater with new thermal expansion tank and tank shut off. Had to rework vent for proper fitment. Also wasn’t able to install drip pan under heater because of HVAC system in the way. Turned water back on and tested. No leaks were present at this time. Cleaned up work area.
