Customer had a replacement bonzai sprayer he wanted us to replace. Removed the old one and installed the provided model. Tested to ensure proper function. Located .15 gpm leak on water service outside foundation wall at a depth of 5’. Received approval to repair. Dug up line and took video of the pipe broken right inside the foundation penetration. Cut out the damaged section and bored a new hole through the concrete. Installed 1.5” pvc sleeve through the concrete. Ran 1” type L copper through the wall and attached back in to the 1” black poly water service. Reattached copper back inside the basement. Tested to ensure no other leaks were present on the line. Sealed inside and outside of new and old penetration with hydraulic cement and spray foam. Purchased 150 pounds of sand to bed the pipe with to avoid a sinkhole putting stress on the repair due to how muddy the ground was. No further issue at this time. 1 year warranty on repaired section.
